For the process:
Math - e
where Math - text is a rate constant, Math - text the frequency factor and Math - text the activation energy, Math - text and Math - text sometimes exhibit compensation, i.e. they change in the same direction with change in catalyst for a given reaction or with change in reaction for a given catalyst.
