Rigid material that consists of an infinite three-dimensional network
of sintered crystalline grains comprising metals bonded to carbon,
nitrogen or oxygen.
The term ceramic generally applies to any class of inorganic, non-metallic product subjected to
high temperature during manufacture or use.
