graphitization heat treatment

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.G02692
A process of heat treatment of a non-graphitic carbon industrially performed at temperatures in the range between 2500 and 3300 K, to achieve transformation into graphitic carbon.
Note:
The term @G02691@ heat treatment does not include information as to the @C01433@ achieved by the heat treatment, that is the extent of @T06446@ into @G02689@ or the degree of @G02691@. Only for such a @T06446@ into @G02689@ should the term @G02691@ be used. Consequently: the common use of the term @G02691@ for the heat treatment process only, regardless of the resultant @C01433@, is incorrect and should be avoided.
