The value of the
relative standard deviation, expressed in
percent. It can be calculated from the relative
standard deviation by multiplying by 100. Comment: It is recommended that the '
relative standard deviation' be reported, rather than the '
percentage standard deviation', in order to avoid confusion where results themselves are expressed as percentages. The term '
coefficient of variation' in place of '
relative standard deviation' is not recommended.
