CIDEP (Chemically Induced Dynamic Electron Polarization)

Non-Boltzmann electron spin state population produced in thermal or photochemical reactions, either from a combination of radical pairs (called radical-pair mechanism), or directly from the triplet state (called triplet mechanism), and detected by ESRspectroscopy.
