chemically induced dynamic electron polarization (CIDEP)

Non-Boltzmann electron spin- state population produced in thermal or photochemical reactions, either from a combination of radical pairs (called radical-pair mechanism), or directly from the triplet state (called triplet mechanism) and detectable by ESRspectroscopy.
