In general, two cells arranged in a @B00736@ configuration detect the change in @T06299@ of the gas at the output of the column. This detector is sensitive to any substance with @T06299@ different from that of the @C00863@. The lowest detectable limit is between \(0.5\) and \(100\ \text{ppmv}\). The linear dynamic range is of the order of \(10^{3}\). This type of detector is often used for measuring components at relatively high concentrations.
