An @A00090@ in the form of fibres, filaments, yarns or rovings and fabrics or felts. Such fibres differ from @C00831@ used for reinforcement purposes in composites by their high surface area, high @P04762@ and low mechanical strength.
Note:
Sometimes fabrics of fibrous @A00090@ are named @C00986@ cloths; a more precise term is '@A00090@ cloth'.
