Time required for a liquid in a capillary to move due to @ET06891@ through the effective length of the capillary, \(L_{\text{eff}}\). This time is usually measured as the @MT06924@ of a neutral compound, called an electro-osmotic flow @M03705@ which is assumed to have an electro-osmotic @M03955@ that is negligible compared to that of the analyte.
