carbon fibres type LM

Carbon fibres type LM (low modulus) are carbon fibres with isotropic structure, tensile modulus values as low as 10% of the C11 values of the graphite single crystal, and low strength values.
Note:
The term carbon fibres type LM is sometimes used for various types of @[email protected] fibres known as @[email protected] or @[email protected] that have not been subjected to hot-stretching. Such fibres are not used for reinforcement purposes in high-performance composites.
