activated adsorption process
If the temperature @C01124@ of the rate of @A00155@ is substantial, an adsorption process is said to be activated (i.e. to have a significant @A00102@). In this case, the @S06012@ is small. In general, the @A00093@ energy of activated adsorption is a function of coverage and it usually increases with increasing coverage.
