@[email protected] are mainly used as binders, i.e. as precursors for @[email protected] cokes, but the term @[email protected] should include any carbonaceous @[email protected] material, for example thermosetting resins such as poly(furfuryl alcohol) or phenolics and similar compounds which may form a @[email protected] during @[email protected]
