An analytical method in which a reactant is injected into a calorimetric vessel containing another @[email protected] The @[email protected] change of the ensuing reaction is measured and directly related to the amount of the limiting @[email protected] (usually the analyte). If the experiment determines information other than amounts of analytes, an acceptable synonym is @[email protected] Other terms which have been used in the literature but are not recommended include the @[email protected] and the @[email protected]
