An @[email protected] in the form of fibres, filaments, yarns or rovings and fabrics or felts. Such fibres differ from @[email protected] used for reinforcement purposes in composites by their high surface area, high @[email protected] and low mechanical strength.
Note:
Sometimes fabrics of fibrous @[email protected] are named @[email protected] cloths; a more precise term is '@[email protected] cloth'.
