Polymer or @[email protected] the molecules of which each have one @[email protected] that acts as a @[email protected], so that each polymer or @[email protected] contributes only a single @[email protected] to a chain of the product polymer.
Notes:
  1. The @[email protected] or @[email protected] of a macromonomer yields a comb or @[email protected]
  2. Macromonomers are also sometimes referred to as macromers. The use of the term 'macromer' is strongly discouraged.
