A @[email protected] that comprises @[email protected] connected in such a way that adjacent constitutional units are joined to each other through more than four atoms, more than two on at least one side of each @[email protected]
Note:
A macromolecule that comprises constitutional units joined to each other through \(n\) atoms on at least one side of each @[email protected] is termed an n-strand macromolecule, e.g. three-strand macromolecule. If an ambiguity exists in defining \(n\), the highest possible number is selected.
