For @[email protected] materials, the magnetic susceptibility may be measured experimentally and used to give information on the molecular magnetic @[email protected], and hence on the electronic structure of the molecules in the material. The @[email protected] contribution to the molar magnetic susceptibility of a material, \(\chi \), is related to the molecular magnetic @[email protected] \(m\) by the @[email protected] relation: \(\chi = \frac{\text{constant x}\ m^{2}}{T}\).
