Although this term has, regrettably, been used to mean the N-nitroso derivatives of @A00266@, logically it refers to @A00266@ of nitrous acid; the @U06569@ parent compound H2NNO is, in fact, named nitrosamide, but its derivatives formed by substitution with @H02891@ groups are by long custom called @N04167@.
