## electrophilicity

https://doi.org/10.1351/goldbook.E02021
1. The property of being electrophilic (see @[email protected]).
2. The relative reactivity of an electrophilic @[email protected] (It is also sometimes referred to as 'electrophilic @[email protected]'.) Qualitatively, the concept is related to @[email protected] However, whereas @[email protected] is measured by relative equilibrium constants, electrophilicity is measured by relative @[email protected] for reactions of different electrophilic reagents towards a common @[email protected] (usually involving attack at a carbon atom).
